One Foolproof Way to Tell if Your Definition of Wealth is Too Narrow

The first word that jumps into the minds of most people when they think about wealth is “money.” It’s understandable, but truthfully, money is only one part of wealth.
True wealth is also about feeling wealthy in your heart and soul, which money has nothing to do with. When you understand the multiple layers to wealth, you realize how it’s possible to have money but not be wealthy, and vice versa.
Be careful to not get confused by thinking it’s impossible to be spiritual and wealthy at the same time. If you incorrectly assume wealth and spirituality to be opposing forces, you’ll struggle to bring abundance to your life in either of these areas.
If your definition of wealth only includes money, this article will help you step into a new wealth relationship, one where wealth is manifested in every area of your life.
Recognize the True Nature of Wealth
The first step is to see wealth in its natural state, which is energy. Wealth is not something outside of you; it’s a reflection of an internal state.
If you’re not manifesting the amount of wealth you deserve, it’s because you aren’t aligned with wealth on a high enough level to attract it. Here’s what we mean.
Whether you know it or not, you’re in a relationship with wealth, and just like every other relationship, it involves a certain amount of give-and-take from each side.
Are you fully committed to your wealth, just as you would be to a relationship?
Sometimes when you step away from a relationship with a partner, you feel an immediate sense of relief because you knew all along that it wasn’t right.
Then, you might step into a new relationship and feel totally different. Maybe that one operates instinctively at a better vibration, and you feel positive and loving.
That kind of feeling is the one we want to have when it comes to wealth.
In addition to recognizing the true nature of wealth, you need to eliminate any limiting factors holding you back, including thinking wealth is beyond your control.
Instead, think: “I step into my new level of wealth with ease, grace, and flow.”
Physically Activate This New Relationship
Now we’re going to walk through a physical exercise to unleash this new belief.
Place your arms behind your lower back and interlace your fingers.
Inhale deeply while bringing your shoulders upward. Exhale slowly while extending your arms and shoulders back. Repeat this process several times.
Slowly bring your arms back to their normal resting position, along your sides. Inhale deeply while filling all the space you created with love and light.
Exhale deeply while relaxing any muscles that may be tense, especially in the neck, shoulders, and jaw. Inhale deeply while bringing your upper body back upright.
Exhale while shaking any tension out of your arms and shoulders. Keep breathing naturally while you shake your jaw, moving your head from side to side.
Shake every part of your body for a while, paying particular attention to what feels good for you. Stop whenever it feels right and observe the sensations in your body.
Stand straight and relaxed while you enjoy the energy flowing inside of you. Repeat the phrase we mentioned earlier with gratitude, knowing that it is your deepest truth.
Reaffirm Your New Identity
To keep yourself on track with this new wealth relationship, buy a journal.
Take it out and ask yourself, “If I stepped into the highest possible relationship with wealth, what would happen?” Then visualize yourself actually living in that reality.
As you write, get into great detail what your new life looks like. The more detailed, the better. What is different about the way you walk, talk, and interact with people?
Live what you wrote about. Choose to act from your new relationship with wealth.
For example, perhaps you wrote, “Instead of checking my bank balance too often and getting stressed about it, I focus more intently on my long-term vision.”
In that case, wou would stop obsessing over your bank account and start some detailed planning on your long-term vision. Reconnect with yourself throughout the day.
